The Problem

Strata had water weeping through parkade wall. Contractor wanted $60K to excavate the exterior and replace the membrane.

Detection Method

Thermal + GPR survey of the parkade wall and exterior grade. Thermal identified moisture patterns consistent with a failing exterior membrane. GPR showed no underground pipe leak — confirmed it was a membrane issue.

Results

Targeted membrane repair at the identified section: $12K. Full excavation avoided: $60K. Strata council used our report to justify the targeted repair to owners.
